MR. KEHINDE SOFOLA (SAN, CON.) I KNOW
He was very bold, extremely courageous, fearless who always stood by the truth and a no-nonsense man.
He was a supporter of the ordinary and down trodden people. He was a great star whose legacies would live on. He was one of the greatest legal minds in the country.
He contributed immensely to the economic empowerment of many people. Many a time he assisted me financially whenever I secured Government contracts since stoppage of mobilization fees on Government contracts.
His kindness, transparency, truthfulness as well as his posture for justice while alive made some lazy ones call him a stubborn man.
He gave me happiness and comfort in all I did. Your care and love for my dad (Late Alhaji Jimo Busari, the Chief Imam of Ikenne Mushin Community) was much that I cannot but cherish, all these as your ever caring attitude gave me hope, life and strong belief, that hard work pays.
His devotion to his children, family and indeed profession are attributes I admire. His family life has been SPECIAL as God had given him very successful children in various fields of education among whom is the former Chairman of UBA Plc, Mr. Kayode Sofola (SAN).
I am proud of each and everyone of them. Even among the Grand children, are Oxford University trained Lawyers, Economists etc. May the Almighty God continue to protect, guide and bless that all.
May his gentle and kind soul Rest in Perfect Peace. Amen.

LETTER TO OUR UNCLE IN AL-JANNAT
Sallam
Oh our Uncle we weep for thee and mourn for thee. To leave us at this stage of the battle is a bitter pill to swallow, but man cannot change the hand of destiny.
I am hopeful that Almighty Allah has prepared for you a comfortable place in the Garden.
The candle of Liberty and Justice you left with us can never be extinguished Insha Allah.
The volumes of the Holy Qur’An recited for the repose of your soul by the most pious of Islamic Ullamah from all over the country and beyond will also facilitate the journey to your Creator.
FARE THEE WELL OUR ILLUSTRIOUS HERO.
Adieu.

Even though we mourn the passing away of our great father at 83, yet we celebrate the life and times of our patriarch, Kehinde Sofola SAN, doyen of the Nigerian Bar, formost priest in the temple of justice and a Prince of the land.
Brief in stature but huge in brilliance......
Cool as lamb but stern in approach...........
Nice to a fault but firm to the end...........
These are the qualities of our great father in whom my siblings and myself are priviledged and proud to have been a part of his life.
May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace in Aljanah. Amin

Kehinde Sofola SAN, the pillar of the entire Sofola family of Ikenne Remo will be greatly missed by all and sundry for his kindness, benevolence and honesty. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace. Amin.

Daddy was a very principled man. He fought for what he believed in and would not falter under any circumstance. He was also very strict and a disciplinarian to the letter. He loved his profession. He was most dedicated to the legal profession. I remember when I took my wife to be introduced to him before we got married on a Sunday afternoon. We met Daddy working in his library. It clearly showed that while other people recreated by attending parties or other social events, Daddy relaxed on a Sunday afternoon on legal work. He was absolutely honest. He helped the needy and fought the cause of the weak.
